Coody USA

Coody is a premium South Korean outdoor engineering brand specializing in luxury inflatable canvas shelters and glamping ecosystem gear. Engineered as a true “mobile home” for elevated family camping and overland setups, Coody replaces traditional rigid metal poles with high-density, 0.7 mm PVC air-tube beams capable of inflation in minutes using high-pressure air pumps.

Crafted from breathable 210 gsm Technical Cotton (TC Blended Fabric: 65% polyester / 35% cotton) with heavy-duty 420D Oxford rainflies (PU 3000 mm) and optical 0.4T TPU windows, Coody shelters offer superior acoustic dampening, natural airflow, and climate comfort. With unit weights ranging from 70 to over 150 lbs (35 to 70+ kg), Coody models—such as the 17.2 Familia, 13.6 Familia, 10.0 Pro, Bestona, and Aurora Dome—are built exclusively for premium car camping and long-term basecamp setups.

⚠️ Critical Operational Limitations & Canvas Care

  • Operating Temperature Range: Coody shelters are recommended strictly for operating temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and above (Spring, Summer, and Warm Autumn glamping).
  • Moisture & Freezing Risks: Technical cotton canvas naturally absorbs moisture. In freezing weather, steam/condensation from wood stoves combined with melting snow forms a rigid ice crust over the canvas and air beams. If the stove is shut down without immediate pack-down, air beams and fabric freeze rock-hard, making packing impossible and risking material damage.
  • Mandatory Home Maintenance: Wet or damp canvas must be completely pitch-dried at home within 24 to 48 hours after a trip. Storing damp canvas will lead to mildew, dry rot, and fabric delamination.
  • Stove Safety: Integrated silicone-glass stove jacks allow wood stoves to vent combustion gases outside only when properly installed and operated. Always maintain continuous fresh-air ventilation, inspect chimney pipes regularly, use a battery-powered Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector, and never sleep with an active wood stove.
